I grew up in Watkins Glen and am proud to serve the community that helped shape who I am today. I have been part of the My Place family for nearly 10 years, working in every position along the way. This experience has given me a deep understanding of our classrooms, our staff, and the families we serve.
One of the things I value most about My Place is our family-first approach. I truly believe that supporting flexibility for both families and staff is essential to creating a strong, caring, and dependable childcare program.
Outside of work, I am fortunate to have a wonderful husband and two teenage daughters who are very active in our community. Community is extremely important to me, and ensuring that families have access to reliable, high-quality childcare is my number one goal. I look forward to connecting and partnering with you.

Giving back through nonprofit work is incredibly important to me, and sustaining access to high-quality, affordable childcare and afterschool programming in our county is at the heart of everything I do.
I have worked in the early childhood and school-age education field since 2013, gaining hands-on experience across classrooms, program leadership, and nonprofit administration. I am currently completing my Master’s Degree in Education, which has strengthened my commitment to research-based, developmentally appropriate practices that support the whole child.
My pedagogy is rooted in the belief that children thrive when they feel safe, seen, and supported. I believe learning is most powerful when it is relational, engaging, and connected to a child’s real world. Whether through play, academic enrichment, social-emotional learning, or family engagement, my goal is to create environments where children build confidence, curiosity, and a strong sense of belonging.
As Executive Director, I am focused on strengthening sustainable systems, supporting and empowering staff, and ensuring My Place continues to be a trusted, high-quality resource for families across Schuyler County—now and for years to come. I am honored to lead this organization and to serve the community that means so much to me.

With over 15 years of experience in childcare and youth programming, I am deeply committed to creating environments where children feel seen, supported, and empowered. Every child deserves a safe, nurturing space where they feel valued and encouraged to be their best self. My passion lies in helping kids recognize that they are important, capable, and deserving of someone in their corner. I take pride in being that advocate for them each day. As both an educator and a mom, I bring a compassion, patience, and a child-centered approach to my work. Outside of my professional life, I love spending time with my own family, traveling, and enjoying the peace and adventure of nature. I strive to bring that same sense of curiosity, warmth, and connection into every space I work in.
